What is Pay at Close for home staging?＋
Pay at Close is a payment option provided by Titus that allows qualified homeowners or real estate agents to defer eligible staging costs. D’Core provides the staging service; Titus handles the application, approval, repayment and account servicing.
Does checking eligibility affect my credit score?＋
Titus states that its application uses a soft credit check, which does not affect your credit score during the application process. Credit may be affected if an approved balance is not repaid when due.
How much can be deferred?＋
Titus currently states that approved homeowners and agents may qualify for up to $20,000. The actual amount depends on factors such as credit, home equity or expected commission and is determined solely by Titus.
When is the Pay-at-Close balance due?＋
According to Titus, funds are generally due when the home sells or six months after the first disbursement, whichever comes first. A canceled or withdrawn listing may also make the balance due. Review your Titus agreement for the exact repayment events and dates.
What happens if the property does not sell?＋
The balance remains the applicant’s responsibility and is generally due no later than six months after the first disbursement. Titus may offer repayment options, which can involve additional fees. The exact terms are provided by Titus before an applicant proceeds.
Are there fees or interest?＋
Rates start at 0%, but not every applicant will receive a 0% rate. Titus presents the approved rate, limit and repayment terms before the purchase is completed. D’Core does not set or collect Titus financing charges.
